I want to start off by sharing with you what I think of every time I read, hear or write the word Team.

As most of you know, I spent the last several days in California on a business trip. The hotel we stayed at just happened to be along the same strip of beach that soldiers wanting to become Navy Seals trained on during what is referred to as "Hell Week".
If you are not familiar with what these men endure during this special week... I encourage you to watch a documentary on Seals qualification. You will see that the name definitely fits.
Every day (and some nights) we could see these young volunteers being pushed to limits they never thought possible. But they worked together as a Team to overcome the great challenges put in front of them. And they were constantly helping and encouraging one another. It was an all for one attitude.
Long story short.... yesterday morning, my family and I were fortunate enough to end up eating breakfast with the same group of young men we had seen train the last few days. They had received free time in order
to rest and celebrate their graduating "Hell Week".
Even at the restaurant.... they were still a team. Many had physical injuries that they were dealing with. They were continually boosting one another. They were continually keeping the moral high. Some even had their sweethearts, wives etc with them for this celebration breakfast. These guest were also caught up in the amazing positive attitude of this elite Team.
This was a group of volunteers who have been training beyond physical and mental limits that most would think is possible.... in able to qualify to perform duties that most of us would not want to do.
I was honored to be in the same room with these young men and their guest. I thanked as many as I could for helping us keep the lifestyle and safety we are accustom to. Even though I was raised in the military, I was still deeply touched by their enthusiasm and all out effort. Especially since all these young men were about my own kids age.
Shortly after leaving the restaurant... my mind was back on our Team here at Mentors Club. We too are volunteers. You were not drafted in Mentors Club. You and I are here because we decided we want to be here. And.... there is no time limit to when we can cancel our membership. Plus.....we have the potential to make several times more money than these young men will. And... we get to earn that money from the comfort of your home or office.
I am not even saying or eluding that our position with Mentors Club is as important as the Seal Teams.
Not even close in any way shape or form. But... our mission is important. And we can help make a positive impact in peoples lives.
These men are voluntarily training to put their life on the line for us. They are willing to die for what they believe in.
Some of us won't even get out from in front of the television or pick up the phone for what we say we believe in.
What's the worse thing that's going to happen to us when sharing Mentors Club with others.... They are going to tell us NO! ? Worse case.... they throw in a few @#%@#$%@# words with their NO!
Wow!..... that is tough........ NOT!
Here is a quick lesson in prospecting......NO NO NO NO NO..... there you have already been told NO!.... and you lived : )
I was thinking how much more our individual affiliate teams would grow and how much more money we would raise for charity... if we set up our own "Hell Week" when we have our official launch.
Or.... even how much we could grow if we created an "Uncomfortable Week" : )
One of our Mentors Club affiliates Charles Fisher, is involved in an event next month that may involve over 50 million people in just two days. Last years event set a world record by involving over 22 million people.
So..... come on..... think VERY BIG as to the amount of people we could reach in our own special launch week. Or every week as far as that goes : )
Get together with your Team and create your own super... all out....we are going to step out of our comfort zone....and Team Up! (Tell Everyone About MentorsClub.com)
Let's set aside just one week..... to explode Mentors Club around the world. If your other Team members choose not to participate..... Go solo... or get with Dr. Stan, Steve or I. Sometimes being a "force of one" can be life changing.
Let's Team Up and do this in honor of those young men I shared breakfast with. Let's do it for the kids we are raising money for. Let's do it to improve the quality of our own lives.
What ever your motivation is.... let's do this together.
Give it some thought. And then share your thoughts with your Team. Let's plan our launch week and kick start this program the way it deserves.
If any of you would like to issue some production challenges to the other Teams.... let me know. I am sure we can come up with something great for the winning Team.
