Today I want to talk to you about using business cards to share Mentors Club with others.

 

Business cards are some of the cheapest, easiest and quickest ways to build your Mentors Club off line.

 

The business card I am talking about is not a little piece of paper that has your name, address, phone number, fancy title etc.

 

It is a mini billboard. I shrinky dinked post card or flyer. 

 

It is a mini sales tool designed to get peoples attention and take a specific action.

 

It is a paper commercial that you can carry (and leave) just about anywhere.

 

You go out to eat and leave a tip.... you also leave a card.

 

You buy gas... you leave your card on the gas pump.

 

You go into a public restroom to freshen up. You leave your card on the sink.

 

You go through a fast food line.... You give it to the person wearing the cap & badge.

 

You buy groceries... you give it to the check out clerk. Leave a card in the buggie.

 

You go into a retail store... you give it to the sales person who helped you.

 

You buy (or look at) a car... you give it to the sales person.

 

You rent a car.... you leave it in the car when you return it.

 

You fly.... you leave cards in the airport and in flight magazines on the plane.

 

You see someone who looks like they are motivated... give them a card.

 

You see someone who needs motivation... give it to them.

 

You have a door to door sales person stop by... give them a card.

 

You go to a movie... leave a card on the theater seat when you leave.

 

You stay in a hotel... leave one for the maid. And give one to the bell hop.

 

You get the point :  )

 

Again.... your card is to get peoples attention and then have them take action.

 

Use catchy headlines or graphics to get their attention.

 

List a couple of benefits (what's in it for them) and either have them go to your

website, to your autoresponder, lead capture page or to you... for more info.

 

Have fun with it.....

 

What about a card with the Million Dollar Man on it and his quote

"Everybody's Got A Price For The Million Dollar Man"

 

What about a card with Shakira on it with a title like.....

Shakira Needs Your Help Now!

 

Or..  Shakira's Hips Don't Lie... and neither do we when we tell you

that Mentors Club ROCKS!

 

Or.. A picture with Shakira and some of the "Bare Feet" kids with a

title like... Get Paid To Help Shakira Take Care Of These Kids.

 

Or... You know you will eat tonight. These kids don't.

 

Or...  We go bare footed because we like it. These kids are bare footed

because they have no shoes.

 

Or... What about a card with Shakira & Frank Shamrock on it with a title

like... Ultimate Entertainer teams up with Ultimate Fighter to beat down poverty.

 

Or....If you prefer to be more serious in your approach.....

 

What about titles like..... Success Really Is A Choice. Our Mentors Can Help You Make The Right Choices.

 

Or... Our company offers full time income for part time work.

 

Or... Now you can have access to our famous Celebrity Mentors for less than a dollar a day.

 

Or... If your in the USA....  Find out how to turn $1 a day into $14

 

Or.... Want to save money on your taxes and make money in the process?

 

The great thing about business cards are that they are so cheap... you can test a couple different cards

at the same time to see which ones produce the best results.

 

In fact... you can print up two or three different cards... and ask people which cards they like best.

 

Use an opening like.... I just got involved in a big international program and I need your opinion on marketing tools I am going to use and I don't want to waste money. Which one of these cards do you like best? 

 

No matter which one they pick. Say something like... super... thanks... now I need your opinion of the companies main website. Please keep the card and as soon as you get to a computer... take a look at the site. I will call you later to find out what you liked about it.  (then actually call them later to ask them what they liked about it.

 

We will be covering many other ways to use business cards in upcoming calls. In the mean time... This should be enough info to get you started in the right direction.

 

Take a couple of minutes to decide what you want to test on your first cards... go out and get 500 or so right away... and then give them all away ASAP.  Don't be a business card collector of your own cards :  )

 

We really do reap what we sow.... so.... go sow a bunch of cards... and reap a bunch of new members on your Team.

Your third way to get paid generating leads

Hi Team,

 

Last night Myron "From Trash Man To Cash Man" Golden shared a couple ways you can actually get paid to generate leads.

 

Well.... Here is your third way.

 

Convert the private label ebooks (found in your members area) into the same type of products Myron was talking about doing on audio cd form. (Myron uses this strategy too)

 

You can add your name, contact info and website anywhere you want to in those books. Then convert them into pdf form. Or.... even get them printed into paper back books.

 

Then.... you can sell or give them away. Think of them as very thick business cards that some people are willing to pay you for :  )

 

If you have a good reading voice... you can even record an audio version of the books and sell them like Myron does with his audio cd products.

 

I will be conducting a full training on the various ways to use your private label books and articles very soon.

 

In the mean time... I just wanted you to see how they fit in with what Myron covered on his call. And why we provide them to you as a Mentors Club member.

 

The private label books and articles are part of your multiple streams of income options.

Soccer Mom vs Super Celebrity

Hi Team,

 

As we get closer to our official launch... you will be receiving more training nuggets like this one and the previous 80/20 rule.

 

Ok.... straight to the point :  )

 

I am already seeing fellow affiliates only concentrating on fishing for "Whales" instead of scooping up the more plentiful small game fish more readily available.

 

In other words.... some of you are only attempting to recruit celebrities, heavy hitters and other non profit foundations into your downline success Team.

 

Going after those niches are fine..... as long as you are sticking to the basics of successful mlm building by going after the soccer moms, the frustrated professionals, the college student looking for a way to work less & make more. Your family, friends, or average people who are willing to work to accomplishing above average things.

 

Why?

 

First off.... As some of you are finding out.... it can take a very long time to recruit a "whale" into your program. 

 

Second.... Often times it will take a lot longer to get them organized and prospecting, once you finally do get them to join.

 

Third... They are quicker to leave your program if things move slower than they expected or you told them it would. Plus... they are on more peoples prospecting list than joe average.

 

Fourth...In most cases of working with a celebrity or non-profit... you will be expected to do most of the work for them with no guarantee of help.  (there are some ways to cut down on this that we will train on later)

 

I am not saying that you should not go after those types of affiliates. I am saying let those affiliates be an extra bonus to your business. Don't build your business, hopes, dreams and goals around them.

 

More times than not... I would take the work at home mom or school teacher over a "celebrity".

 

Besides..... with Mentors Club... you already have more celebrity names to market than you probably will. And... you are already part of a world wide fundraiser. Run with what you have already :  )

 

Your Mentors Club pay check would EXPLODE if you and everyone in your success downline concentrated on signing up two personally sponsored members.... and then helped those two do the same ASAP!

 

Don't over complicate this..... Get your two today.... and help those two get their two tomorrow.

 

Ok..... if you insist on being slow :  )  get your two this week... and help those two get theirs next week.

 

If you have already personally sponsored two members into Mentors Club.... find out right away if they have sponsored their two yet. If not.... help them NOW!

 

If you have sponsored two.... who have sponsored two each... check and see if those 4 newbies need help.

And.... personally sponsor 1 or two more and start the cycle all over again.

 

Shampoo... Rinse.... Repeat....  

 

Left...Right... Left... Right... left....

 

Get into a groove.... a rhythm... a system of automation & duplication.

 

Get 2.... Help 2 Get 4.  Then....Get 1... Help 1 Get 2.... then... Get 1... Help 1 Get 2  etc

If your downline is doing this..... and... the 80/20 rule

Hi Team,

 

I have a question for you......

 

If your downline success team is doing exactly what you are doing to build your Mentors Club affiliate program, how many people do you think your entire organization will grow by this week? What about this whole month of October?

 

As a martial arts instructor.... I never asked/demanded that my students do anything that I had not done or was not willing to do myself.

 

As a dad... I never expected more from my kids than I expected from myself.

 

As a Life Coach / Consultant... I have always given advice that I would be willing to follow through with if I were in their situation.

 

As a network marketer... I never recommended anything to my downline success team that I had not done or was not willing to do myself.

 

I take my position as a Mentors Club Founder very serious.

 

I am a part of Mentors Club to help support awesome nonprofit foundations like Kick Start & Pies Descalzos.

 

I am also involved in Mentors Club to help other members like you.. to help create & live your ultimate lifestyle.

 

And yes.... I am involved in Mentors Club to make money. To be more blunt... a lot of money. 

Because.... I know the more money I make... the more money is being raised for charity causes.

And.... because the more money I make with Mentors Club... allows me to put more time into Mentors Club.

And.... because I am married with children :  )

 

I know exactly why I am involved in Mentors Club. And I know exactly what I want out of being a Mentors Club member / affiliate. (Do you?)

 

As I mentioned on my first call with several of you.... I look at each one of you as one of my VP's, Regional Managers or Managers. I consider you a part of my business. Your not just a user name in my genealogy.

 

No.... I do not consider you an employee. If that were the case.... I would have fired a few people already lol.

 

And yes..... I realize that I can't make you pull away from your TV or time hanging out with your buds to put time and energy into sharing Mentors Club with others.

 

However..... I can (and will) limit who and how I spend my time.... especially when it comes to building my Mentors Club business. I am "in it to win it" as they say. I am here to accomplish my goal of helping raise a minimum of $100,000.00 a month for charity work. I am in it to help pad my retirement account. I am in it to soar with fellow Eagles... and not waste time just talking with Turkeys.

 

I said all that to lead up to this........

 

Here is a VERY important business building tip that you will see/hear again and again if you stick around Mentors Club or read very many business related books. Many of you may have already heard about it. It's called the 80/20 rule.

 

The 80/20 rule simply states that on an average... 80% of the work/recruiting will be done by only 20% of the people involved.

 

Now most people think that in order to build a successful mlm downline... they need to spend as much time as they can begging, pushing, pulling, bribing the 80% into getting of their self induced, non productive bottoms to do something productive. WRONG!

 

Let me repeat that......WRONG!!!!!

 

It's that whole.... "you can lead a horse to water" deal.

 

If you want to be really successful in the mlm industry.... concentrate on the 20% who are voluntarily doing something productive. 

 

 

Now what's also amusing about the 80/20 rules is that it is normally the 80% of people that are doing nothing, that will want to take up 80% +++ of your time.

 

Do NOT let that happen to you!  You can always make more money if you waste it. You can always buy more food if you waste it. But..... you can't get back time that you waste.

 

So..... here is my main point of this blog post..... I bet you thought I was just rambling on lol :  )

 

In order for us (on Team 20%) to accomplish our goals.... we too must stop wasting time with those on Team 80%.

 

For all of you 20% achievers.... I look forward to continued success together. We are going to ROCK the world we live in...one member... one affiliate... one child at a time.

 

For all of you 80% non achievers....on behalf of Team 20%, we wish you the very best of health, wealth & happiness. Enjoy the monthly training you receive as a member. Apply as much of it to your life as applicable to make improvements in your world. And... we invite you to come join us over on the 20% Team.

 

In the mean time..... please do not attempt to waste our time with idle chit chat and non productive activity. No... we will not build your downline for you. No... we will not pat you on the back and reward you for inactivity. No.... we will not beg you to be the best you can be in life.

 

You see...unlike professional sports... you can choose which Team you want to be a member of. And you are guaranteed that you will get to play as much (or little) as you want, once you have chosen your Team.

 

So in closing.... As we are about to receive our first checks and about to participate in our first contest to celebrate our "official launch" I want to encourage you to join the 20% Team right now. Not tomorrow. Not next week on the 8th. Not after your next days off. Right now!

 

Success starts in the mind. So make up your mind right now... that as a Mentors Club member... not only will you be part of the 20% Team.... you will be one of the leaders of that special Team of winners. You can do it if you really want to. Mentors Club provides you with the how.Only you can provide yourself with a strong enough why.... to do what you need to do.

Prospecting is always a numbers game and the more people you expose

your offer to... the better chance you have of finding a new downline success partner.

 

You might be amazed at how many people want to give up on their home based

business after only running a couple of advertisements or message board post, or

sharing their website with only 3 or 4 people.

 

And.....always have fun with it. You are doing people a favor by sharing Mentors Club

with them. If they choose not to participate... it is their loss  :  )

 

So..... "never beg for business", play "let's make a deal" to get them involved. Never try the

"you join my program and I will join yours" approach.
