Helping the prospect see something of value to them...

Hi Team,

 

Here is part of an email I received early this morning from one of our AWESOME international affiliates who is marketing to a tight, focused niche of online prospects.

 

"I used the ideas you gave in your last email about the Myron Golden call. I had 5 people on the call. The problems I'm running into is convincing them and others that even though they are "experienced" marketers they STILL need the benefits of a mentoring program especially considering the daily changes in this market. The benefits to me are obvious but even though I'm pretty good at discussions and persuading people I seem to be missing something here.

 

Aside from the financial benefits that the people understand how do I convince them that they NEED the mentoring benefits???"

 

Here is my first reply to the above.....

 

"It's almost 2am here.... so I will keep this brief and follow up again after I get some sleep :  )

 

The first thing I tell people is to read the main page of the site very carefully to make sure

they see the many areas of mentoring, education & training they will be receiving.

 

Then.... I ask them are they as successful as they want to be in all areas of their life?
(I have never had anyone say yes yet)

I then point out that Mentors Club is set up to help people reinforce the areas of life they are already strong in.... but more importantly.... improve on all their weak areas.

Then I use some examples of people like Tiger Woods etc.. who (even though are among the best of the best in their fields) still rely on mentors/coaches to keep them there.

Then I like to ask the person.... Do you have all the money you need now and will need in the future? (most people can't say yes to that) I then say.... that Mentors Club faculty members will constantly be teaching you how to build multiple streams of income in addition to the money you can make through the affiliate plan.

I then say something like....Besides... even if you do not personally need a mentor in your life right now... most people do. Mentors Club is a way that you can get paid helping to make sure that others are also successful in life.

And... don't forget... you are also helping to provide food, clothing, shelter and education for children in need at the same time. Plus... you may not need someone to master mind with right now.... but life changes quickly... and it is good to know that as a Mentors Club member, help will be there when you need it.

Plus.... as a Mentors Club member.... you will be able to establish new relationships and business contacts that may not normally be available to you. So even though you don't feel like you need mentors in your life right now... I am sure you can use more contacts and potential customers.

When someone tells you that they do not see $29.97 worth of benefit by joining Mentors Club, chances are.... they did not take a real good look at the website. And.... they did not

get a good sense of how excited you really are about the program.

 

People normally purchase for 2 main reasons... emotion & need. You want a new HD TV so you can see your favorite sporting event more clearly. That's emotion. Your TV stops working & you need a new one. That's need.

 

Mentors Club offers people a chance to become a member based on both emotion & need. Your "success activity" is to help uncover something that we offer that will appeal to either (or both) of these purchase reasons.

 

Here is a quick close you can use if your prospect is a business professional or entrepreneur.  "The Mentors Club membership is less than a $1 a day. If you get just 1 good idea a month from the membership.... you have received more than your monies worth. But I am positive that you will receive a lot more than that. I know I am :  )  So go ahead and get signed up so we can learn & earn together.

 

Here is a quick close you can use on someone who needs money. "Listen.... the Mentors Club pays us two times a month. Like you.... I can always use additional income. So go ahead and get signed up now so we can start working together to make some extra money before the next checks are processed.

 

In closing.... write down all the different reasons you are excited about Mentors Club. Keep a journal of the different benefits you receive from the products and services. And when you share Mentors Club with others... make sure you share some of that info with them. And always..... always... share your excitement. Remember..... information educates, stories sell.
