1 down.... 11 more to go.

Hi Team,

Wow! We have already wrapped up the first month of this new year. So today is the time to study your actions and results for this month to see if you continue to do what you have been doing, will you end up where you want to be 11 more months from now.

If you have been keeping daily / weekly stats...as I continue to recommend, this will be quick & easy to do. If not... this is going to take a bit longer. Either way, it is going to be time well spent.

If after reviewing this months activity / results, you are not moving forward the way you want. MAKE CHANGES NOW!

Trust me... the rest of the year is going to blow by you just like this month did. And before you know it... you will be welcoming in the new year, making the same resolutions and setting the same goals that you did not keep this year.

Your success in life is determined by the actions you take, or don't take every day.

So stop what you were doing and go over January. Make any changes you need (or think you need) to make, and put them into action right away. Seriously.... if YOU are SERIOUS about YOUR SUCCESS.... don't put this off. Don't tell yourself that you will do it tomorrow. Right now is the time.  You have the power to change your life. So use that power. You can do it. I know you can :  ) So just go do it. Go... why are you still reading this lol. You have something more important to be doing. You still reading? GO!  :  )

5.8 Million Reasons Why

Hi Team,

Since most mlm companies are private, it is very hard to gage their real success (or failure). Thank goodness that there are several public traded mlm companies that we can keep an eye on what's going on in the industry.

For instance... I constantly here that network marketing does not work. And when I share with people that I plan on having at least a million people in my downline, they think I am crazy and unrealistic.

Well.... Mr. & Mrs. Negative... I have always been under the opinion that if one person, company etc has accomplished something, that another person or company can accomplish the same thing, under the same or similar circumstances.

And I recently read that one public network marketing company currently has 5.8 Million Sales Reps. Yes... that is 5,800,000 people active in their company. (and there are others with over one million reps.) So.. if they can do it... I believe I can too.

The next time you hear someone say that mlm does not work. Or that there is no way you are going to have enough partners in your downline Team to live the ultimate lifestyle of your choice, just smile at their lack of knowledge and understanding. Because you know that there are companies out there with over 1 million active members. And you can prove that one has 5.8 Million.

The network marketing industry is alive and growing. People are making money in this industry. And you can too. No more excuses because I have 5.8 Million reasons why it is possible. I know you don't have that many excuses why you can't :  )  All you need to do is follow proven business building systems to work on a continual basis. And we provide you systems to follow.

So let's see if we can build a company with at least 5.9 Million Reps.  :  )

Take Control And Be Your Own Boss.

Here are 10 great benefits of being your own boss.

1. No More Alarm clocks
2. No more arrogant, ignorant, rude, lazy, world revolves around them, bosses
3. No more unreachable targets
4. No more pointless meetings
5. No more 'You can't have your holiday that week'
6. No more 'We would love to give everyone a pay rise, but if we do, people are going to lose their jobs and it could be you'.
7. No more 'You are just going to have to work longer hours for less money!'
8. No more not knowing if you have a job next month.
9. No More, No Future!
10.This is the best reason of all! Because, when you have your own business and you are your own boss, there is no limit to what you can achieve and earn.

Take control!

You can have your own business, be your own boss and at the same time work your old job for your existing boss. Using your existing job to fund and support the 'Learning Stage' of your new business, will enable you to build slowly and correctly without the pressure of your new business being your only source of income.

There is a lot to learn, when you start your own business. The great thing about being a member of our Team is that we help you earn while you learn. Let's take a quick look at a few of the things you will need to know.

1.You need to learn about the business you chose. I.e. MLM, internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Internet MLM, etc, etc.
2.How much time are you going to put by each week for your new business?
3.How much money are you going to invest?
4.You need to study and learn about the products or services you are going to sell or provide.
5.Make sure you, read, watch and listen to as much information as you can about your new business.
6.You will have to deal with friends and family telling you that you have made a mistake and that you should stick with what you know.
7.Does your new business operate by, face to face, telephone, direct mail, online, or indeed all of the above.
8.You need to set goals and targets and if you don't make them you can tell yourself off.
9.NEVER QUIT! You must persevere, if you REALLY want to succeed, you WILL.
10. There is know one to answer to, just you, so you will, from time to time need to have a word with yourself. You will probably start talking to yourself quite a bit, well I do anyway!

All successful people have one thing in common, they NEVER QUIT. Remember the Zig Ziglar saying, 'The major difference between the big shot and the little shot is the big shot is just a little shot who kept on shooting.'

Having your own business and being your own boss isn't for everyone. Indeed, some people are happy having other people take control of their lives. This sort of person would not be reading this now, they would have long gone. If you are reading this article you probably are the sort of person that wants to take control, the sort of person that has the 'Entrepreneurial flair', the sort of person that has the passion, enthusiasm, vision, effort and focus to live the life of your dreams.

If you are this type of person I wish you all the luck in the world, you just have to believe you can do it, sometimes it's hard and you will want to quit, DO NOT QUIT.

Jack Dempsey, the world famous boxer said, 'A champion is someone who gets up even when they can't'. How great would it feel if you went to your existing boss in six months time and said, 'I'm earning more at my part time job than I am at my full time job, I simply cannot afford to work for you anymore, GOOD BYE!' You have the opportunity right now to do just that. All you have to do is follow our instructions on how to plan your work and then work your plan.

Are you living the Greatest Lie?

Have you ever felt that your life was a conveyor belt of ….

Go to school, graduate, get a good job with a good company, accumulate retirement savings, and use these to do everything you'd ever wanted to during your retirement?

If that's what you've grown up expecting you may be in for a big surprise. Only 5 people in 100 who follow this route can look forward to a comfortable retirement. Are you shocked?

That means a whopping 95 out of 100 hardworking people who try to follow this route are going to have to rely on inadequate pensions, social security, and family assistance to live out their golden years. Not a happy picture.

Just take a look in your community to see how few retirees are financially independent. If you know any that are truly financially independent then you'll probably find they did it on their own.

So, if you want to want financial independence what are your options?

You could pray that you'll be one of the 1 in 180 million people who hits the lottery or you could inherit a fortune when your aged maiden aunt checks out. Another way could be a life of crime, but I warn you that your chances of reaching retirement age, let alone enjoying it, are really slim.
In reality there's just one way you can ever be financially independent..

You have to do it on your own.

I've recently read some fascinating statistics about age and self-employment:

"According to studies 22 percent of men and 14 percent of women over 65 are self-employed. That's compared to just 7 percent for other age groups. According to a Vanderbilt University study the number of entrepreneurs in the USA age 45 to 64 will grow by 15 million by 2006. That's compared to a 4 million decline for entrepreneurs age 25 to 44."

And: "Self-employment among American workers increases with age, with the most dramatic jump occurring at age 65."

Don't worry help is at hand. With the advent of the Internet there's a whole new world out there, and, most importantly, it's a level playing field. (Finally I can say it…Size doesn't count). There are more than 500 million consumers out there and with a good plan, you can learn to build your financial independence with your own online business. And every day, their are close to 200,000 people logging onto the internet for the first time.

Before you say "I can't do it" let's chuck out some of the most common reasons people give for not wanting to start an online business:

Objection #1: I'm not smart enough to have my own business.
This is unlikely to be true. Successful businesses are run by people with vastly different capabilities. Running your own business is about solving people's problems and not about how smart you are.

Objection #2: I don't have the time it takes to start or grow an income source online.
Unless you're already working 80 hours a week, you can probably find time to start building an online business. You'll probably need to find 1 to 2 hours a day (7 to 14 hours a week) to successfully build your business. (Not too much is it?). It's really all about organizing your time. How about using your commuting time to record ideas for a business?

Objection #3: I don't have the money it takes for a new business.
The cost of starting your online business needn't be expensive – certainly less than starting a real world business. You can get started today for less than $30.

Objection #4: I'm not an expert at anything.
No matter what your background there's probably something you know that somebody else doesn't. That makes you an expert to the other person. Just do some research and before long you'll find that there's something that you can teach others. Besides, with a business like ours, you become part of a Team of experts in many fields to help you learn as you earn.

Objection #5: I have nothing to sell.
There are two parts to an online business a product and people wanting that product. You can sell other peoples products (just like real world) if you know what people want. The great thing is... we furnish you high quality, high demand products to sell. We even provide you a personalized website and training on how to use it.

Objection #6: Someone is already doing what I want to do so it is useless trying to compete.
Of course other people are already doing the same thing but that's true in the real world too. Just do it better. If there aren't others doing the same thing you probably can't make money out of it. Competition shows that there is a market for your product/idea.

Objection #7: The only people making money are people telling others how to make money.
When you start on the Internet Marketing route you're desperate for information and in finding it you sign up with everyone offering to help you – these are the guys (and girls) offering their services as business advisers. They are not the only businesses on the 'Net but they are the ones you'll come into contact with first.

Objection #8: I've tried plenty of business opportunities with no success -- it's just not for me.
Maybe it's not, but chances are, your failure is from listening to people who did not know what they were talking about, instead of building your own business from the ground up using a proven system of success.

Objection #9: I'd need a top search engine ranking to get anywhere and that's almost impossible.
Search engine positioning is not the be all and end all. There are other ways to find traffic and customers.

Objection #10: I'd need a big advertising budget to get any results.
That's simply not true, the 'Net is the perfect place to do business with a small budget. A smart business owner has a marketin plan that includes low cost / no cost, on and offline marketing.

The greatest lie out there today is that, if you get a good job and slave away for 40 something years, your retirement years will be golden.

As part of our Team, you already have everything you need to Stop Living The Greatest Lie! You just have to take advantage of what you have. You can do it... Yes... You! I know you can :  )

It's Monday again... 5 Steps for working moms to balance out this morning.

Good morning all you working moms out there.

It's Monday morning (again).  You glance at the kitchen clock and gulp down a cup of coffee while attempting to put on your clothes at the same time and realize that you only have 5 minutes to get your 5 year old dressed and ready for school, not to mention you still need to pack her lunch.  Not soon enough do you remember that you were warned the previous Thursday by your easy-going boss (not!) for being late the third day in a row.

Sound all-too familiar?  Hey, no one said being a working mom would be easy, but here are 5 steps to help you achieve that delicate Monday morning balance:

- - First and foremost, be prepared.  If need be, pack your child's lunch the night before.  Give your child a bath the night before as well.  Do your washing and ironing on the weekend so that all clothes are hung and ready to go; prepare at least 5 outfits for each member of the family over the weekend and have your husband and children assist you in the process.

- - Set your alarm clock 10-15 minutes earlier to allow yourself more time in the morning.  If need be, go to bed 10-15 minutes earlier to make up for the time difference. Wake up before your kids to shower and dress.

-- Keep breakfast simple and healthy.  If you feel that you just don't have the time for breakfast, try keeping bananas (and other easy to eat fruit) and vitamin fortified cereal bars handy and ready to grab and go.

- - Set a routine for you and your family and stick with it.  Our bodies crave routine and that's a fact.  Go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning.  Sticking with a schedule will make it easier to effectively manage that Monday morning balancing act.

- - Divide your morning into phases.  For example, phase 1:  Eat Breakfast, phase 2:  Get Dressed, etc.  Set the phases in 15-30 minute time increments (phasing increments can vary, depending on the overall time you give yourself).  Attempting to accomplish everything at once will only lead to chaos and confusion.  Help your family stay within the proper phase and ask them to also pitch in and help.  Encourage your family to stick to the morning phases to keep things running smoothly.

The key to achieving any balance, especially that Monday morning balance, is being prepared.  Try a more organized approach to your Monday mornings ( every other day too ) and you will find that they turn out to be a lot smoother and less stressful for everyone. Have an AWESOME day.

6 Cheap Nights With Your Family

An evening of fun can be exciting and something all parents want to do on a regular basis. However, going out costs money and frequently it can cost more than the average family can afford. So, if you want to enjoy an evening with your family consider these 6 cheap nights where you can really enjoy some family bonding while saving money at the same time.

Cheap Family Night #1 The Movies
I know you are thinking the movies are really expensive and there is no way you can afford to go. However, frequently during the week movie theatres offer specials, even 2 for 1 deals, to get more people in to see movies during the middle of the week. As a result, by taking your family to the movies on a Tuesday or Wednesday as opposed to Friday or Saturday you can save a lot of money. Also, consider popping popcorn at home and carrying it with you in a purse. That way you can enjoy popcorn without spending $5 for a small bag.

Cheap Family Night #2 Bowling
Bowling is a great family activity and like the movies many bowling alleys offer specials during the week, especially for kids. So, have a great dinner at home and head to the bowling alley. Of course, call ahead and find out when your local bowling alley offers specials for families and children.

Cheap Family Night #3 The Park and Ice Cream
All kids love to go to the park and since the park is free it is perhaps one of the best places to go! Your kids will love playing on the monkey bars and merry go rounds and you as parents will enjoy some family time and fresh air. Then, head to your local ice cream parlor and have a cone of your favorite flavor or buy a gallon of ice cream to enjoy at home.

Cheap Family Night #4 Local Sports Game
Many kids really love sports so consider a family night out to a local sports game, even a high school game. Entrance is inexpensive and it can be a lot of fun to watch local people playing a sport. Also, if you head to a high school game you can frequently pay entrance and see girls and boys play. A great family night out!

Cheap Family Night #5 Pizza and Arcade
Another great night out with the family can be enjoying a family size pizza and then playing games in an arcade. Not only will you have a great meal that is inexpensive, but the arcade games are generally inexpensive as well. You can give each child $2-3 in quarters and let them play until they are gone.

Cheap Family Night #6 Success Library
Spend time with your family going over some of the great content in your members only Success Library. There are many ebooks, videos, audios etc appropriate for all ages. The mentoring you receive as a member can be life changing. So make sure your spouse and kids have access to this awesome material too.

3 down & 49 more to go. Where are you at so far?

Hi Team,

We have completed the first 3 weeks of this year and I just have to ask.....

If you continue to do what you have done the first 3 weeks, for the next 49 weeks, where will your business be at the end of the year?

Always remember that success and failure is determined by the daily decisions and activities we do or don't do. It is very important to continually monitor your activity and results from those activities, on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis etc.

It is much easier to make minor changes in your business building activities on a daily basis than to attempt to make major changes a few times a year. So if you are not on top of your stats / results and are not making the right activity adjustments based on what is taking place in your business, now is the time.

Don't wait another day to make any changes needed in your daily activities. Don't wait another week to check and see if your daily activity is producing the results that you want. Don't wait another quarter to take control of your life. Don't wait another year to keep the New Year Resolutions you made.

It does not take as much time as you think it might. And even if it did... it would still be worth it.

Know what you want to achieve. Know what you need to do on a daily basis to achieve what you want. Make sure you continually do what you need to do.  It is very simple. Not always easy. But yes... very simple. You can do it. You can design, create and live the ultimate lifestyle of your choice.

So stop reading this and go do at least one thing productive that will put you one step closer to living that lifestyle you dream about living  :  )

I am still a fan... even after a big loss. How about you?

Hi Team,

I have to confess.... yes.... I am still a Dallas Cowboys football fan.

Why am I telling you this?

Well... last weekend they played very poorly and lost their chance of going to the Super Bowl.

So again... Why am I telling you this?

Because many people will deny being a fan of a Team in this situation. And some will actually turn against a Team in that situation. Like wise... many network marketers act in a similar manor. They get turned down by one or two people or hear something negative about their industry, company, product (even if it is not true) and they start hiding their Rep status. And in some cases, even quit their current company or the network marketing industry.

Here's the deal... no one has a 100% closing rate. So you are going to have people say no to your offer to be a partner with you. No company, compensation plan, product or service is perfect. And no matter how great a company is, there is always the chance that a fellow Rep will do something or say something they should not. And their actions could reflect on the company as a whole. Plus no matter what industry you choose as a career, there will always be people who bad mouth your choice.

So... just like I am still a Dallas Cowboys fan at a time where some perceive this as a negative thing, if you get tempted to give up on your dream because someone told you no, or someone else said something bad about your company or the network marketing industry, don't do it. Yes there are reasons to quit a company or this industry. But a few rejections or negative comments are not on that list.

Stick with your dreams, goals and daily action plans to make them a reality. Wear your Team colors whether your company is #1 in the industry or not. Be proud of your industry, company and partners. Stay excited and don't stop sharing that excitement with everyone you know.

My name is Dr. Reggie Cochran and I am a Dallas Cowboy fan and a Professional Network Marketer :  )  What are you?  :  )

Do these with your personally sponsored partners on a regular basis

Hi Team,

One of the most important things you can do for your business, is contact your personally sponsored members on a regular basis to...

Let them know that you care about them and their business

Let them know that you are thankful to have them as a Team Partner

Let them know that you are willing to work with them to build their business through 3 way calls, mastermind sessions, additional training and role playing etc. The key word is work with... you are not to work for them... but with them.

Offer to be their accountability partner when it comes to their daily activity.

Encourage them to continually be "a product of the product."  In other words... check to see if they are actually listening to, watching & reading the latest ebooks, videos and audios that we receive on a monthly basis. Make sure you share with them what you  personally liked / learned from the products as you go through them.

The personal and working relationships that you have with your partners, can make or break your business. A successful mlm business is built on a lot of people doing a little work on a regular basis. If your current partners are not working on their business, you will have to go out and find new partners who will. Do you want to spend time working with someone who is already part of your Team or spending your time prospecting for new ones? I recommend working with those you have.

Besides... it is your obligation to work with your partners. That is what we get paid for by the company. So stop reading this post and go contact your partners :  )  It is time very well spent.

Listen up for better success.

Hi Team,

How many times have  you found your attention wandering when listening to a boring speaker? How many times have you nodded your head in understanding even though you may have missed the main point? There is nothing wrong or irregular in this behavior. It happens to all of us. We may hear what another person is saying but unless we listen we can't comprehend what he is saying. And due to technology like the internet, our focus and listening skills are progressively getting worse.

How do we learn to listen? It is not difficult. All that it needs is some discipline and self-training. The first thing is to control your thoughts. You cannot be a good listener if you allow your thoughts to wander. This happens most often when some word or statement made by the speaker triggers your memory, and you drift off. You therefore need to pull your thoughts backs, and refocus. This is not easy, because the mind is a powerhouse. It flies in all directions, many times without your bidding.

A good way to make your mind focus is to train your mind to stay focused for long periods of time. You can do this by listening to a radio or a television or recorded speech. (You receive awesome recorded content every month with your membership) You let the speech run for a fixed time, say five minutes to start with. If your mind loses track of what the speaker is saying, then restart the speech. Do it with different speeches till you can listen without a break for five minutes. Next, increase this time to ten minutes, and repeat the exercise.

You will find that you can concentrate better, and comprehend what the speaker is saying. You now need to repeat the exercise using a video, where the speaker waves his hands or stops for effect or rattles off sentences. You will find that very often these minor things send your mind on its own trip. You need to stop the mind from doing so. In other words, you must not allow yourself to be distracted by the dress, mannerisms or the activity going around the speaker.

You are now ready to listen to people in real life. Your mind will stay focused, and you will find that you are a better listener now. What's more you will find that better listeners are also better understood. This is because your response will be in keeping with the expectations of the speaker.

As a network marketer... the better listener you are, the stronger & faster your business will grow. This is also true for those of you in a sales position. And normally the better your listening skills, the better your relationships are with those you love. Being able to really focus in on what other people are saying is an important key to helping you achieve the ultimate lifestyle of your choice. You have to be able to focus on we, to improve me, when it comes to your business and your relationships. It goes back to that old 2 ears, one mouth saying.

So if you want to make more & love more.... make sure you listen up more.

Never play "let's make a deal" when it comes to prospecting.

Hi Teams,

A common mistake made with network marketers is playing what I call "let's make a deal" when it comes to prospecting. This is when one networker tells another networker that "if you will join my Team.... I will join your Team at the same time."

Most of the time this does not work out for either networker.

Here is the bottom line.... if you have to bribe someone to join your Team, they are not serious about what you are offering them. They are hoping to get you excited about their opportunity so you will make them money. And when this does not happen... they will quit your Team while encouraging you to stay on as a member of their Team. Not only will they not make you money, they will keep you from making money by distracting you & wasting your time with their program.

Besides.... it makes you look like you do not have a strong belief in yourself, company & product.

So.... if you have been doing this... do yourself a favor and stop it right now. It is a total waste of time and money.

Blessings, Dr. Reggie Cochran, Ph.D. DCH CPMA DD

To Pre-Qualify or Not to Pre-Qualify..... that is the question.

Hi Team,

There was a study done in the insurance industry that showed that if an insurance agent would go to a public place like a mall, and ask everyone that walked past him... "you wouldn't want to buy any life insurance would you?" that 3 people out of 100 would say yes.

So... based on this study... if an agent is willing to ask enough people a very simple pre-qualification question, they can make money.

Now is this the best way to build a business if you are an insurance agent? NO WAY!. But it does show that no matter how bad your approach is, that if you are willing to ask enough people to buy your product, join your Team etc... you will eventually get people to buy / join.

Over the years I have seen some VERY LARGE mlm Teams (and checks) built by using simple pre-qualificaton questions as a major part of their prospecting system. Does it work for everyone? No. Is it the best way to build your business? Not necessarily. But.. if your business is built on quickly contacting a lot of prospects on a regular basis... it could be an option.

If you are not sure what I am talking about when I talk about prequalification questions... let me explain.

Instead of attempting to lead in with a presentation of your company, product, comp plan etc... you ask them questions that qualify their openess to take action and spend a certain amount of money first.

For example.... Joe Prospect... would you be willing to spend $30 a month  (whatever your company $ amount is) and 3 hours a week to earn an additional $300, $3,000 a month or a lot more?

If they say yes... you can either pivot into an appointment to share specific your company / product.

Or... you can further qualify the prospect by asking one more question like... do you think you could find at least 3 (or whatever minimum # you need for your comp plan) who would do the same thing?

Then...if they say yes again... set the appointment for your specific company presentation.

Decades ago I saw this used effectively offline in many way. Today I am seeing it used as a screening process for online created prospect leads. In other words... people are sent to a website that ask them the pre-qualification questions and told that if they say yes to all of them, submit their contact info more more details. If they say no... that this opportunity is not for them and to please not request further info etc.

Even though this is a quick / simple way to see if someone is open to what we offer... here is what I want you to consider before you take off and start teaching your Team to build this way...... Most people who join your Team will not contact 100 people like the insurance agent did in the study. In fact.. my personal experience is that many people who join your Team will not even contact 10 people before giving up.

I have lost count of the times I have had Team members come to me saying that they have tried hard to build their business and the way they have been trained, just does not work. The first question I normally ask is... How many people have you made a full presentation to? And most of the time, I am told only between 3 to 5 people.

If the Team member has a job... my second question is... If your boss told you that you had to contact 100 people this week to share your company and your companies products and services with them, or be fired... would you contact 100 people? 90% + I am told that yes they would. I then normally ask them if they really like their current job. And again, the majority of people say... no.

Think about this... many people would contact 100 people to save a job that they do not really want. But will not contact 100 people to build their own home based business that could allow them to create and live the ultimate lifestyle of their choice. We will go into the "why" of this in future training. But for now... just realize that if you do adopt a pre-qualification approach for you and your Team training, you need to make sure that you include training that will get your Team to actually use these questions on a large enough number of people to find their 2, 3, 4 or whatever number they need to get their business started properly. That too will be covered in future training for those of you who want to use this way of prospecting.

In closing, just like the insurance agent I mentioned earlier... if you or your Team members ask enough people a simple pre-qualification question, they will eventually find people who will say yes. The only question is... will you and your Team members ask enough people to make it work? If the answer is yes... this could be for you. If you would not do it, and you don't think you can get your Team Partners to do it... the answer is no, this is not for you. And for those of you who are curious... yes.. there are certain situations and markets where I personally use it successfully.

Lifestyle marketing NFL style.

Hi Team,

There are many awesome marketing lessons to learn from football fans (fan is short for fanatic) players and cheerleaders. For the sake of time, lets take a look at a couple of the key points.

1) A true football fan does not have to tell people what their favorite Team or player is because they are normally showing it by their clothing or accessories. On game day this increases... the most fanatic of fans will dress (or undress) in the most bizarre ways to draw even more attention to themselves and their Team. They want to be seen on television looking like a dork for their Team. And when they do get some on air time looking dorky, they will brag about it at home and work for weeks.

Players and cheerleaders are the same way. They spend a lot of time being walking billboards. In fact.... due to all the advertising that superstar players do and are done for them, they get recognized by people all over the globe who are not even football fans.

2) Fans, players and cheerleaders are constantly talking about football in general as well as their favorite team and players. And they are never embarrassed to show their excitement and passion when doing so. This is true whether they are talking to friends or strangers. Whether they are in private or on world wide television.

Imagine if everyone on your network marketing Team was constantly sharing our industry & opportunity to everyone through the use of logo wear, brochures, flyers, business cards, cd's etc etc.

Imagine how much quicker and larger your Team would grow if your Teamates were all as excited to talk with anyone and everyone about network marketing and our program as football fans are abut their Team and players.

And further imagine if you built your business up to superstar status to the point that your Teamates, friends and family talked about your accomplishments so much that people you have not ever presented your opportunity to, knows who you are, what you do and how you do it.

What if you had many members of your Team also at that superstar level?

The truth is... a good majority of people that get involved in the mlm industry are way too embarrassed to ever become a fan of the industry and their company of choice. It's almost like they are afraid of being found out and are sneaking around in ways not to get caught being an mlm rep.

These people often wonder why their business does not grow and why when they do get up enough nerve to present their opportunity to someone, that person does not join their Team.

Who wants to get involved with someone who is not a fan of what they are doing? Who wants to join a Team that is made up of a bunch of players who are too embarrassed to wear their Team uniform or tell people what they do for a living?

In closing, here is a little homework assignment. Tomorrow their are two football games on TV. Please take @ 10 to 20 minutes and watch the fans in the stadium. And watch the players & cheerleaders as well. They are also big fans of their team (and themselves). Then ask yourself if you are a true fan of this great industry and of the great company we are involved in.

When you signed up with our Team, you became a player too. You have the opportunity to become a superstar in your company and industry. This starts with excitement. If you are not an excited fan/player... why not? If you are... how can you get more of your Team to become excited fans / players too?

GO Cowboys!   :  )   Yes... I am a Cowboy fan in both good and bad seasons. I have a Cowboys cap that I am not embarrassed to wear in public. I talk about the Cowboys to other football fans whether I know them or not. I am even willing to post it on a blog like this lol.

And I am the same way about the mlm industry and our company. Are you? For your sake.... I sure hope so.

2 down & 50 more to go. What do your...... ?

Hi Team,

Congratulations.... you have made it through 2 full weeks of the new year. Which happens to be half way through the first month  :  )

Now I realize to most of you that days, weeks, months, quarters etc do not have special meaning when it comes to your network marketing business. BUT! as a business owner, they should.

If you do not keep consistent stats of your activity and results, you will never be able to totally optimize your business productivity.

At first, it may seem like a lot of work to continually check your activity but it is not if you will do it on a daily basis. Then at the end of each week, you will have your needed stats. Then at the end of 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 26 weeks & 52 weeks, you will have stats you need to provide you with an accurate account of whether what you have been doing is working or not.

Those stats will allow you to see what areas of your business building needs improvement. As a network marketer, they will show you exactly what your weak points are when it comes to things like contacting, following up, closing and training your downline partners.

Just like you need written goals to help you focus in on and accomplish what you want, these stats will help you focus in and determine if you are on the right track to accomplish your goals along with a more clear picture of how long it is going to take.

Trust me on this... the benefits you will receive are very well worth the time it will take to track your business on a daily basis.

OK... what types of things should you keep daily records of as a network marketer? Here are a few of the most important things to start with.

Total minutes / hours you worked on your business.
The number of new people you presented your business to along with all their info.
who/what/when/where/how the presentations were made.
What type of feedback you received from these presentations.
The number of people you followed up on who you presented your business to, but did not join yet. (and their  info / feedback)
The people in your downline Success Team that you contacted, worked with etc (details of the calls & training / work activities)
If you helped any of your Partners sign up a new member, who those new Team members are and what training was done with them.
The total number of people in your Team at the end of each day.
Any type of advertising you did.
If you received a check that day, record how much you made.
Any business related expenses for that day.
How much time you spent on self improvement.

Business owners who have employees etc will naturally keep a lot more detailed info. For example... A network marketing company should know additional things like exactly how many reps they had every pay period & how many reps received a check. They should also track details of those checks, like the highest, lowest and average amounts paid by pay period. And by representative rank (if the company has a rank / bonus system).
They should also collect and receive weekly activity reports from each of their key employees / reps (ie Master Associates, Marketing & Training Directs etc)

Likewise, if you do own any type of business with employees, determine which ones should be tracking specific daily activity (and why). Then provide them the forms & training on how to use the forms & make sure they provide you those forms at the appropriate time (daily, weekly, monthly etc)

Tracking list can be a lot more detailed. But the above is enough to lay a basic foundation for you. The more details you keep, the better. In the near future, I will go over with you how to use the info above to help you improve your activity results.

In closing... if you have not already been tracking your daily activity, start today. And if possible, go back and write down any past activity that you can remember. If you have been tracking... CONGRATULATIONS!  :   )   The next part is to use your stats to make the necessary changes in your daily activity to produce better results. Don't worry if you are not sure how. We will be having special training on this soon. In the mean time, just keep on tracking every day. You will thank me and yourself for it later.

Are you emailing your prospects in the appropriate tone?

Hi Team,

I continually see and hear conversations about emails being taken the wrong way and misunderstood due to the writing style they were delivered in. For example... I have read emails where someone was joking around but instead taken very serious. I have read emails where someone was attempting to help someone with an issue because they cared... but was accused of being cold and uncaring.

The bottom line is that unfortunately, it can be very hard to convey personality, emotion, energy and purpose through an email in a way that the recipient is going to get what you are conveying. So taking this into consideration, let me ask you........

Are your email messages too casual?  Or, are they too formal?  Are you using the appropriate tone?

Email messages are different from typed letters.  You can't be "too" formal in a letter.  In an email, too formal looks silly.  What's the appropriate tone for an email?  -- slightly more casual than a letter.  Yet, there's a fine line between being too relaxed and too stiff.

To some degree, the attitude and culture of your company will dictate the amount of formality necessary.  For example, floral shops and hotels won't be as formal as a bank or law firm.

As you compose the message, consider the person who will be reading it.  Know your audience.

The job gets easier when you're replying to a message.  You can already see the tone of the sender.  All you have to do is match the tone of the sender. When in doubt, strive for a tone that is professional, yet conversational.  One easy way to achieve a conversational tone is to use contractions (I'll, we'll, he's, she's).

Also, it's acceptable to use pronouns.  In conversation, we use the words "I, we, you."  So, use these in emails.  For example, "It is suggested . . . " sounds very stiff.  Instead, try, "I suggest . . ."

Be careful with the pronoun "I."  Using too many can be perceived as egotistical.  You don't want to appear pompous.  If you notice an abundance of "I's," try rewriting every other sentence.  This will create variety, and that pesky personal pronoun won't be as obvious.

Email is a great form of communicating.  Just remember that your old typed-letter writing style should be adapted so your messages don't sound stilted and stiff.  On the other hand, email is NOT a license to be sloppy.  The most effective email messages find a happy balance.  They have a conversational tone.
Since emails can easily be misinterpreted, this is why I recommend face to face or phone follow up when at all possible, as soon as possible. And if you can talk with the person before you send the email... even better. Hi Tech is great... but being able to add that Human Touch every chance you get is even better. This is especially true when it comes to building your network marketing business. Network marketing is first and foremost about relationships. So always ask yourself if your emails are helping or hurting you in building a relationship with the receiver.

10 Tips For Loving In The Fast Lane

Hi Team,

As you will see from the article below, we care about you being successful in all areas of your life, not just your business. Owning and running a successful business is not worth anything if you do not have success with your health, spirituality, relationships etc. So as you continue to work on the financial side of your lifestyle... please keep an eye on these other areas and how they are all balanced together in your over all plans.

10 Tips For Loving In The Fast Lane
Do you ever feel like you catch up with your partner infrequently, often late at night when you're too tired to speak?  Or when your timetables happen to collide?  There are work dinners, school outings, sporting practice, dinners with friends, homework to supervise, household chores and so the list goes on.  Do you feel like you need to make a date night just to spend some one on one time with your other half?  Time when you're not sleeping?

If this sounds like you then I'm sure you will enjoy these tips for keeping each other close at heart, even if you can't always be as physically close as you'd like. Its all about communicating and sharing the little things that make up our lives. Here are ten easy ways to make your feelings known:

1. Birthday love letter.  There is something powerful about a letter. Writing down all the things that you love about the other person and then giving it to them is a very personal and thoughtful thing to do.  In many cases its better than any gift you could possibly imagine and something to appreciate and cherish even when the birthday is a distant memory.  You can do it for your children too if you have any and they will never need to doubt that you love them.   Of course, you don't have to wait until it is your loved ones birthday to send them a letter – anytime is a good time to tell them how you feel about them.

2. Sit down and talk about your day.  When we can we sit down at the table to eat our evening meal and take it in turns to talk about what we did in our day. The other thing we take it in turns to do is name the best and worst things that happened that day.  Sometimes so much happens each day that it helps to pause and reflect on what were the highlights and lowlights.

3. Celebrate all your partner's successes with them – from a high five to a toast with your favorite drink.  Whatever the scale of the success calls for, make it a joint celebration.

4. Allow yourself to be impressed by your partner and let them know.  'I'm proud of you' is something that I think everyone loves being told by someone they care about.

5. Never underestimate the power of a hug – train your kids to hug you back.  For you guys reading this... yes... real men hug  :  )

6. Send them a photo that means a lot to you and tell them why its important.

7. Share an experience.  It could be a movie, a new CD, magazine article, or a short story.  Talk about what you read or saw and why you liked or disliked it.   And do it regularly.

8. Compliments.  Everyone loves getting them, so never pass up the opportunity to give one of these reliable mood boosters.  You can give them in person or write them on a small piece of paper and leave them somewhere unexpected for your loved one to find.

9. Dance.  It doesn't' take long to find a great song you both enjoy, put it on and dance around the living room floor – probably 5 minutes maximum but it is a wonderful way to physically reconnect with each other in between dinner and desert or at the end of a long evening or you could make it an unusual way to start your day.

10. Thoughtful gestures.  Doing something unexpected, especially when you're loved one is busy and stressed, is a lovely way to show that you understand what they are going through and that they have your support.

Showing your partner how much you love them need not take a lot of time and you will be rewarded many times over for your effort. Get loving today!

Your business is like Pop Corn

Hi Team,

As a Business Coach, I tell my clients that when starting a new business, be prepared to be over worked and under paid in the beginning. But if they build their business properly.... they should end up being under worked and over paid. The same holds true when building a network marketing business. Often when you start building your business, the results start off slow. But for those who stick with it, the results start happening at warp speed.

Why is this?

There are too many reasons to go into in one short article. But let me give you a clear mental picture of how this works by going over how to make Pop Corn with you. Yes... Pop Corn :  )

Whether you are using a microwave Pop Corn bag or will be cooking your Pop Corn in a pan, you first have to go to the store and buy the Pop Corn. Then you have to open up the Pop Corn bag / box and place the kernels into the heating unit. Next you have to turn on the heat.

At first, it appears that the heating source has no impact on the Pop Corn kernels. You may start hearing the sound of oil / butter heating up, but no POP. But then (after what can seem like a looong time if you are hungry) you hear that first POP. Then a little while longer, another POP. Then another, and another and another.  Next thing you know.... kernels are POPPING like crazy faster and faster.

They will continue to POP as long as they are exposed to the heat. However... at any time during the cooking process, you turn down or off the heating source... the kernels will slow down their popping, or stop all together.

Your business is the same way. At first when you start working with your Sponsor to build your business, it may not seem like anything is happening. And then you may have some positive results, but your business is definitely not exploding. However... if you will just continue to apply heat (work) to your business, your results will start coming in quicker and quicker. And if you apply enough heat long enough, just like with Pop Corn, your business will start to explode.

The problem with most people who join the Network Marketing industry quit too soon. They do not get to enjoy the benefits. So... as you are building your business and get the urge to quit or slow down, think of Pop Corn & keep the heat on your activity. It will eventually POP!

Are you derailing your business with details?

Did you know that details can kill your web business? And I'm not talking about details killing your business from the standpoint of being careless about them. While it's true that being careless can hurt your business, everybody knows that (even if they don't always put it into practice).

The way I'm talking about that details can kill your business is if you focus too much on them.

Say what?

How on earth can focusing too much on details hurt your business?

Ever tried to walk on a railroad track? When I was a kid, my aunt and uncle had a house right next to a railroad track. My uncle once challenged me to walk on the track without falling off. Hey, it's not like walking a tightrope. That track was as wide as my feet. Should be no problem. So I started walking it, carefully watching my feet with each step to make sure I stayed on the track. But I couldn't get more than a couple of steps before I'd lose my balance and fall off.

My uncle taught me that the only way to walk that track successfully was to look at a point a ways down the track - not down at my feet. By setting a goal and focusing on it, I could walk on that track as easily as if I was walking right on the ground. It was only when I focused on my feet that I tripped up.

It works that way with business, too. Our natural reaction is to put all our attention into "watching our feet" as we deal with this short-term detail and that. But when we do that, we "fall off the track" of where we wanted to go.

Now, I'm not saying that we should ignore the details of our business as we gaze wistfully toward our vision of the knock-out business we dream of building. You never get anywhere without taking step after step after step to reach your goal. But you never get anywhere, either, if all you look at is the present step.

The point in the distance that you need to focus on is the need your audience has and the solution you have that will fill it. It requires you to understand your audience - who they are and what they need and what concerns stand in the way of them choosing your solution. In other words... finding out what their "why" is  and showing them how you can help them solve / accomplish it.

It's way too easy for us to focus on details, namely, on the latest traffic building tips or tools, the latest bells and whistles we can add to our site. Details are usually driven by facts, and facts are something we feel we can learn and control. Understanding the people who make up our pool of potential customers is a lot more scary. It requires us to step outside ourselves into the hearts and minds of other people.

Given the choice between dealing with predictable facts and details or dealing with unpredictable human nature, most of us will jump at dealing with facts any time. But that just gets us stuck staring at our own feet as our feet inexplicably slip off the track. The only way to stay on track is by looking toward your ultimate goal: you helping people solve some problem in return for them repaying you fairly for the time and effort you put into it.

That's really the most simple definition of what business is. The details are not your business. The facts and the tips and the tools are not your business either. They're merely the steps you take to get to that point in the distance. And the more you take that to heart, the more easily you'll stay on the track toward your goal.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't forget to put our Tuesday night opportunity call in your planner for this week (now is the time to line up your guest for the call.) And then make sure that you and your guest are on Russ's Wednesday night training call. We want to help you build your business. So let us help you by taking advantage of live calls like this one. This is a "We Biz... Not a Me Biz" and  (we help people help themselves, while helping others in need at the same time." Let's see how many new people we can all help this week.

5 important Home Based Business Tips

Hi Team,

Starting your home business is the easy part, but realizing your long-term goal of financial freedom takes much effort and dedication. There are many ways to operate a home business, but the tips below outline some solid principals you should follow to earn a steady income from home no matter what your home business.

1. Set Goals for Success
Setting goals will help you stay focused on what you want to accomplish within your home business. Start with long-term goals for where you would like to be financially five, ten, even fifteen years from now. Next, create short-term goals for daily, weekly, and monthly achievements. To attain financial freedom is a great long-term general goal, but it will take many small goals to reach this level. You'll need to set small goals to create a steady cash system. A home business will go nowhere without goals, so take this step before starting any other tasks.

2. Create a Pleasant, Professional Home Office
Evaluate your home business workspace. Do you work in a corner of your bedroom with a desk and computer? Is your office usually the kitchen table between meals? Do you try to work in the living area while the rest of your family enjoys conversation or entertainment? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you'll probably need to make some changes.

Create an office space that is for work only. Even if it's in the corner of another room, block its view with office sectional walls or some type of barrier wall to give a sense of privacy. An office should be just an "office" and nothing else. When you arrive at your office, you're ready for work. When you leave the office space, the workday is over.

3. Get Organized
Once you have a defined work area for your home business, fill it with supplies and tools to make work easier and more efficient. Choose a desk and chair for comfort as well as back, neck, and arm support. Desks with shelves and cabinets can make organizing your office a cinch, especially if you have limited office space. Also, keep a daily to-do list, calendar, and schedule book to prioritize tasks.

4. Stay on Schedule
When you work at home, it's easy to get off schedule because of interruptions or the temptation to take time off for leisure activities. Keep in mind that every moment wasted today usually means more work the next day. Eventually, you'll be working around the clock and never seem to accomplish anything. For home business success, keep a steadfast work routine daily and set a work schedule you can stick with every day. Develop a mentality that every job is actually a pay-by-the-hour job. Every hour spent working will help you make money and gain financial freedom.

5.  Separate Business from Personal Tasks
Once you set a schedule, stick to it. Don't allow personal tasks to get in the way of work. These can be anything from cleaning the house to visits from friends or relatives to watching television. Take breaks from your computer, but try to avoid getting involved in personal tasks during your breaks.

Many women confess to washing dishes, ironing clothes, vacuuming, and other personal tasks while on break from their home business. Personal tasks can cause your mind to be off-focus, and it will be difficult to return to a regular work routine afterward. Find other things to do during breaks that won't take your mind too far away from work. Take a 15-minute walk. Sit and read a self-help book related to your business. Or, take a quick snack break, with a healthy snack of course!

Once you take these steps, you're closer to enjoying a steady cash system at home that works. You can earn money doing what you love most, and your home business can soar to heights never imagined if you stick with these basic principals. Get ready to earn the financial freedom that awaits you just over the horizon!

On Line or Off Line Marketing... which is best for network marketers?

Hi Team,

When it comes to marketing.... there are 3 major ways of marketing. The first is On Line Marketing aka online. The second is Off Line Marketing aka offline.

Both have their strengths and weaknesses. But both are excellent for building your business. However due to a lot of wrong training (and sometime out and out lies) there is a BIG divide in thoughts when it comes to these two areas. Off Line marketers believe the internet is over rated and not worth the effort.  On Line marketers tend to look at Off Line marketing as out of date and too old school to be effective in todays technology driven market.

The third marketing strategy (which I HIGHLY recommend) is a well thought out and executed marketing campaign of both On Line and Off Line marketing.

If you are currently just an On Line marketer.... you need to know that On Line marketing was originally just a tool to help with Off Line marketing activities and follow ups. And as a rule, when it comes to the network marketing industry... those who use just On Line marketing to build their business, usually end up with short term income (if any). This is a "We Biz... not a Me Biz" built on relationships first. Most On Line marketers only, do not know how to or take the time to, build relationships with the people they prospect On Line. By adding Off Line marketing, they will end up with a stronger Team. Unfortunately many On Line marketing "Gurus" tell people that if they follow their system, they do not ever have to talk to people. They just follow their system and it will work forever earning them tons of money with no more effort on your part. This is pure B.S. Their is always extra time and money involved.

If you are currently just an Off Line marketer... you need to know that On Line marketing (when used properly) will save you a lot time and money. It will allow you to reach people world wide in ways most people can't afford to do through Off Line techniques only (if they even know how to in the first place). If you find the right mentors and systems... is not as complicated to market On Line as you may think. You do not have to become a "Geek" or "Techie" to make this a great fit to your Off Line activities.

So.... if you are one of those who currently believe that either On or Off Line marketing is best... I am asking you right now to open up your mind and start adding the other marketing option to your business building.

Stay tuned to this blog your emails and members area, for future tips, tools, training and techniques to help you merge the best of the old (Off Line) and new (On Line).

Bankruptcy up 32% in 2009. Could we have helped?

Hi Team,

I just heard this morning that bankruptcy filings were up 32% last year.

That sad part is that many studies have shown that most people would not have to file bankrupcy if they only had an extra $300+ a month more a month.

The great news is that you belong to a company that can allow people to make that much and more very quickly.

Truth is.... just about everyone you personally know could use or want more money coming in on a regular basis. And many of these people are going to get involved in a network marketing company this year. The only real question is.... will they be joining our company and your Team, or someone elses?

The need is there. The solution is there. The only thing missing is you to believe in what you are doing enough to let people know that you care about there "why" (their own reason or need for starting a home based business) and are serious about helping them create, design and live the ultimate lifestyle of their choice.

The more people we help take care of their "why", the more we help take care of our own "why" at the same time. And with our company... we are also helping provide food, clothing, shelther, education & medical treatment to others in need, at the same time.

I like to put it this way.... "I help people help themselves while helping others in need at the same time." That is one of my personal mission statements. It is why I am passionate about our Mission, Membership & Money programs. It is why I am grateful to have you as a member of my Team. This is why I take a personal interest in your success with our company.

Another thing I believe and say often is that.... "This is a We Biz... Not a Me Biz"   And I believe that this year.... "We" will set mlm and charity donation records. Together we can help this world we share, become a much better place just by each of us doing our little part on a regular basis.

I strongly encourage all of you to set a minimum goal of presenting your great opportunity with at least 2 new people a day (6 days a week) until your income is where you need / want it t be. Most have heard the old saying... "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away"  Well... let's make a new saying more popular than that...  "At least 2 new presentations a day, keeps Bankruptcy away"

The more time you spend presenting our Mission, Membership & Money with others... the easier it will get for you. Which normally leads to a higher Team Partner sign up rate. Which means you start to make more money per hour, for the time you actually put into building your business.

Become a fan of your business just like people do with their favorite entertainers, athletes, teams etc. Be so excited about what you do that you can't stop yourself from being successful when it comes to letting people know about your business and how you can and will help them once they become one of your partners. Wear your Team colors with the same pride and excitement that sports fans do. Talk about your business with the same excitement that people talk about the latest greatest song their favorite singer just released.

Letting people know what you do and how you do it should be just as simple, easy and fun as when you tell a friend or family member about the last great movie you saw, or the last great meal you had at a restaurant. If this is not the case for you, make sure you catch all of Russ's Wednesday night training calls for some awesome business building / prospecting tips from the way he has successfully built his own personal business. It will be time well spent.

If you are reading this and are not currently part of our Team... please get back with the person who shared this blog with you and find out how you can start helping yourself and others... today. I look forward to hearing your success stories on our live calls soon.

1 down.... 51 more to go

OK.... we are now ending week 1 of our new year. So let me ask you a quick question....

If the next 51 weeks are like your first week... where will you be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially at the end of this year?

In other words... if you keep on doing what you just did (or didn't do) this first week... will you be living a life that you want to?

If you like the results of your activity this week.... congratulations.

If not...don't panic and give up yet  :  )  Now is the time to buckle down and make changes in your daily activities. Today is the day to do something different that is going to take you one step closer to being the person you want to be, to live the lifestyle you desire.

Here is something for you to repeat out loud several times a day, that can help you get or stay on track. Yes... I am serious! Repeat it out loud several times a day. Trust me on this.... your words have real power. So use them to your advantage.

"I am in control of my mind and body. My mind and body does not control me. Every day I take control of my thoughts and actions to accomplish everything on my written daily activity list. Every day I make the right choices in life. At the end of each day I can sleep peacefully because I know am several steps closer to living the ultimate lifestyle of my choice."

You can do it... and I am believing you will :  )

Mark Burnett's secrets of success.

Without a doubt, the King of Reality TV is Mark Burnett. From Survivor to The Apprentice to The Contender, Mark Burnett has been the man behind some of the most successful shows in history. But how did he do it? How did this former British Paratrooper become one of the most powerful men in Television.

A big part of Mark Burnett's success can be attributed to his special forces training. In so many instances, these men find themselves in situations where all seems lost, but they continue on regardless. This sort of mental toughness and discipline is essential to the entertainment industry, where things will go against you and you most certainly will feel at times like you are ready to give up.

Anyone who has spent time with Mark Burnett can vouch for his intensity and his habit of being an eternal optimist. He always feels there is another way and that a failure - no matter how big or small - is simply a stepping stone to success.

He is also an expert in the field of marketing. He knows that an idea is worthless unless it is marketed in the right manner and has worked diligently over the years on his own marketing skills. It is one thing to be a creative genius, but another to communicate the value of that idea to someone.

Here are 5 elements Mark Burnett considers crucial to his success.

Flexibility. There is a saying in the military "improvise, adapt, overcome," and it is an essential element for success. He understands the best quality any person can have is to be flexible. Things change and you need to handle that. In his words, "flexibility starts with paying attention to the people around you. In selling, the dumb salesperson has one way of presenting ... and only one way. He fails to understand there are different types of people and they all require a different kind of sales approach ... If you're a one-trick pony, you'll end up selling a lot less."

The most successful ideas are new ones. Everyone always remembers the original before the copy. There has to be some new element with any idea you come up with. Added to this is the way the idea is communicated. You must understand your market inside and out and exude contagious enthusiasm when talking about it. If you can't be enthusiastic about your own idea, how can you expect others to show interest?

Keep you and your ideas fresh in their minds. It can take as many as 7 exposures before anyone will buy from you. Burnett advises pitching in person where ever possible as it is so much more powerful than using the phone. Follow up with people diligently and thank them for taking the time to meet with you. This personal approach coupled with your enthusiasm and knowledge will make you stand out from all the others out there pitching ideas.

Persistence. There is going to be rejection. There are going to be people who don't like you or your idea. It happens. As Mark Burnett says, "my story is as much about failures, as it is about success. Successful people aren't going to close every sale, they aren't going to hear 'yes' every time they suggest an idea. When faced with failure, the successful person will persevere and try not to repeat the same mistake. You can almost always learn something from adversity." In many, many cases, the people who ultimately find success are the ones who refuse to give up. Ever.

Understand the value of having a strong team. Find yourself a core group of people who are dedicated to helping you succeed. Hand pick the best people you can find and reward them for their efforts. "I never go it alone. A leader is only as good as his team. Strong people surround themselves with other strong people and keep them there," he says.

Mark Burnett has achieved a great deal, but it is important to remember he had his share of failures between arriving in LA and signing his first deal. We can learn from his approach and pay close attention to the 5 elements he has cited as being instrumental to his success. I know the next Mark Burnett will.

A couple of good generic mlm videos

Hi Team,
Below are links to a couple of good short generic mlm videos (they don't talk a specific company or product) that you can share with others before you take them to your company website.
Break The Cycle
Bring It Home
These types of tools help accomplish two things. Share the basic benefits of owning an mlm business with your prospects & Pre-Qualify them for you. Chances are.. if someone watches a video like these and does not get excited... they will not get excited after taking a look at your company website either.
As you watch these two videos.... make mental or written notes on the things that excite you the most about our great industry. Then as you share your opportunity with others.... make sure you excitedly include these benefits in your presentation.
Remember.... always let your tools (like these videos and your company websites etc) do most of the sharing. The main things you need to share are that you are very excited about your opportunity and that you care about your prospects success just as much as your own.
Keep your prospecting simple, fun and continuous. You can do it! : )

Today is one of the best prospecting days because...

Hi Team,

Studies have shown that more people are depressed on Sunday than any other day of the week. Mainly because they are dreading going back to work tomorrow to a job they either hate or not paying enough.

As a network marketer.... you have a  possible solution to their job based depression. So I highly recommend that you spend some quality time today, sharing your opportunity with people that are off today.

Let them know that you are serious about creating and living the lifestyle of your choice and that you are just as serious about helping them create and live theirs.
