Lifestyle marketing NFL style.

Hi Team,

There are many awesome marketing lessons to learn from football fans (fan is short for fanatic) players and cheerleaders. For the sake of time, lets take a look at a couple of the key points.

1) A true football fan does not have to tell people what their favorite Team or player is because they are normally showing it by their clothing or accessories. On game day this increases... the most fanatic of fans will dress (or undress) in the most bizarre ways to draw even more attention to themselves and their Team. They want to be seen on television looking like a dork for their Team. And when they do get some on air time looking dorky, they will brag about it at home and work for weeks.

Players and cheerleaders are the same way. They spend a lot of time being walking billboards. In fact.... due to all the advertising that superstar players do and are done for them, they get recognized by people all over the globe who are not even football fans.

2) Fans, players and cheerleaders are constantly talking about football in general as well as their favorite team and players. And they are never embarrassed to show their excitement and passion when doing so. This is true whether they are talking to friends or strangers. Whether they are in private or on world wide television.

Imagine if everyone on your network marketing Team was constantly sharing our industry & opportunity to everyone through the use of logo wear, brochures, flyers, business cards, cd's etc etc.

Imagine how much quicker and larger your Team would grow if your Teamates were all as excited to talk with anyone and everyone about network marketing and our program as football fans are abut their Team and players.

And further imagine if you built your business up to superstar status to the point that your Teamates, friends and family talked about your accomplishments so much that people you have not ever presented your opportunity to, knows who you are, what you do and how you do it.

What if you had many members of your Team also at that superstar level?

The truth is... a good majority of people that get involved in the mlm industry are way too embarrassed to ever become a fan of the industry and their company of choice. It's almost like they are afraid of being found out and are sneaking around in ways not to get caught being an mlm rep.

These people often wonder why their business does not grow and why when they do get up enough nerve to present their opportunity to someone, that person does not join their Team.

Who wants to get involved with someone who is not a fan of what they are doing? Who wants to join a Team that is made up of a bunch of players who are too embarrassed to wear their Team uniform or tell people what they do for a living?

In closing, here is a little homework assignment. Tomorrow their are two football games on TV. Please take @ 10 to 20 minutes and watch the fans in the stadium. And watch the players & cheerleaders as well. They are also big fans of their team (and themselves). Then ask yourself if you are a true fan of this great industry and of the great company we are involved in.

When you signed up with our Team, you became a player too. You have the opportunity to become a superstar in your company and industry. This starts with excitement. If you are not an excited fan/player... why not? If you are... how can you get more of your Team to become excited fans / players too?

GO Cowboys!   :  )   Yes... I am a Cowboy fan in both good and bad seasons. I have a Cowboys cap that I am not embarrassed to wear in public. I talk about the Cowboys to other football fans whether I know them or not. I am even willing to post it on a blog like this lol.

And I am the same way about the mlm industry and our company. Are you? For your sake.... I sure hope so.

Blessings, Dr. Reggie Cochran, Ph.D. DCH CPMA DD
